Hello

My name is Holly Songster and I am a Data Analyst with a strong educational background in Geological Sciences, Hospitality Management, and Small Business Ownership, a strange combination, I know! But what do they all have in common? DATA! I have loved processing and analyzing data for as long as I can remember. I do not make any major decision without first making a spreadsheet. Whether its planning a road trip, building a Tiny House on Wheels, or purchasing a new car, spreadsheets and data have always been my personal sidekick in making informed decisions.

In addition, I have an excellent understanding and proficiency of platforms for effective data analyses, including SQL, spreadsheets, Tableau and Python. I have recently completed multiple Coursera and Linkedin Data Analysis specific courses including the Google Data Analysis Certificate - a rigorous, hands-on program that covers the entire scope of the data analysis process, as well as many other speciality courses to help develop my skills as a data analyst.

“It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts.” ― Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Sherlock Holmes
