For this project I analyzed data from purchase receipts I saved from the DIY Tiny-House-on-Wheels my husband and I built in 2017-2018. The purpose of this project was to answer the following questions:

1. How much did we spend on the build?
2. Where did we spent the most money and what was the timeline of our purchases?
3. How did our build total cost compare to other DIY Tiny-House-on-Wheels builds?
4. How did our build total cost compare to a standard house (2500 square feet) build?
5. Was it worth it financially to build a house ourselves?

To answer these questions, I cleaned and standardized my data to a more readable and usable format. I then made pivot charts and graphs, and an interactive dashboard using both Excel and Tableau. Finally, I uploaded my data set into SQL to do some aggregate function work and to see if I could drill down my data further.

In the sections below you will find the results of my analysis in the forms of a Powerpoint Presentation, Excel Dashboards and a link to the SQL code I used for my analysis.
